Yes Eductaional Exchanges ,collaboration and networking is the way forward to buidling international relationships and partnerships, however the knowledge extraction and pllication by these Indian students is an incomplete journey. Studying in UK and getting to know thier culture as wellas imparting the Indian culture works dividend on the individual, However the Indian education system is hardly benefiting from it. The processes and systems in india at the grassroot level are still traditional which kills the motive of the entire international build up process. These students need to make sure that the necessary changes in culture and system needs to be made here back in India so that the the raodmap is built for the growing future.
Thank you very much for your reply. It's interesting what you say about changes needed at the grassroots level. I hope you're staying well during this pandemic.
Hey Joyce, Yesterday's announcement on the changes in the education system in India is a huge step for the progress of Indian education in the longer run.For eg Coding classes right from Std 6 is one of the best things to happen at the grassroots in the Indian education system. The huge gap in the international and national education and technical system needs to be taken off for the overall internationalisation to be a success. Looking forward to your inputs and expertise on this as I find this topic of much importance to all the aspiring students who travel abroad for better education, however do not affect the education at the national level in India
Thank you very much! You caught me right as I was reading through the National Education Policy 2020. There are a lot of interesting changes there and we will be covering it soon. Joyce
