The Particle Physics and Astronomy Research Council is offering a screensaver based on the paradox of Schrodinger's cat, which according to quantum physics can be simultaneously dead and alive. Download from www.pparc.ac.uk/freebies/saver.html. A spokesman confirmed that no cat suffered in the making of the program.
