Newt expert hits top

A scientist studying the effect of climate change on the life cycle of newts has been identified as the 10,000th user of a national database on weather and atmospheric measurements.

Kerry Murton, a PhD candidate at Cardiff University's Llysdinam Field Centre, is using data from the British Atmospheric Data Centre at the Science and Technology Facilities Council's Rutherford Appleton Laboratory.
