Mary Kellett was appointed substantive VC last November, so describing her as “acting” is not correct.

Describing the OU as “troubled” and suggesting that it is in search of a “sustainable financial model” is harking back to the coverage of the Horrocks era, rather than reflecting the reality of the university now.
