* The EIS this week unveiled its manifesto for the Scottish Parliament, calling for a "total review" of funding for further and higher education students.
It also calls for an immediate injection of funds to eradicate college deficits and for parliament to set up a national negotiating forum for further education to set national standards for pay and conditions.
