Manchester scientists launch genetic firms

SCIENTISTS at Manchester University have formed two companies to exploit their expertise in analysing genetic data and promising research work aimed at fighting human and agricultural fungal infections. The firms are the first spin-off ventures from the university's new biosciences incubator company, Manchester Biotech Ltd.
