Loss for languages

Anglia Ruskin University will close its languages department in 2008-09. The decision, announced this month, could lead to up to 20 redundancies. BAs in French, German and Spanish will close and recruitment to language masters courses will cease in September 2007. Current undergraduates will be able to complete their degrees.
