Lecturer to claim harassment

A FORMER Edinburgh University lecturer in social anthropology who took early retirement last year is set to bring a constructive dismissal case against the university. Alan Campbell, shortlisted for the McVities Scottish Writer of the Year award in 1996, had been with the department for some 20 years. It is understood that he will claim he was forced to leave because of harassment by senior colleagues. The case is likely to be heard in September.
