Grimsby Institute of Further and Higher Education has suspended Robin Keates pending investigation into the level of the lecturer's qualifications. The Times Higher reported earlier this year that Mr Keates had been challenged by a former colleague over the provenance of his PhD. The institute said: "This is in line with the organisation's normal procedure. A further statement will be issued after the investigations have been concluded."
