US whistleblower wins suit
A former history professor has been awarded $5.3 million for intentional emotional distress after a university broke New Jersey's whistleblower law. Libero Marx Renzulli Jr told a jury that Fairleigh Dickinson University threatened him with a manufactured charge of sexual harassment when he tried to expose a "grades for sale" scam more than three years ago.

Bush to get honorary degree
George W. Bush is to receive a honorary degree from Yale University today – his first visit to the university since he graduated in 1968.
