The funding councils and the Publishers Association have joined forces to launch a pilot project that, if successful, could provide university library users access to an electronic inter-library loan facility. The scheme aims to mirror the inter-library loan system already available for print-based material and is to be jointly managed by the PA and the councils' Joint Information Systems Committee.
