Huge donation to benefit US college

Claremont McKenna College in the US has been given a £100 million donation, among the biggest ever received by a university. The gift was made by alumnus Robert Day and will create a scholarship programme with courses mixing liberal arts education with finance, accounting and leadership psychology or a new master of finance degree. Day founded the investment firm Trust Company of the West.
