HEFCE launch consultation on proposed fund for good management practice

In a separate initiative, HEFCE this week launched a consultation on its proposed fund for good management practice. The fund, worth Pounds 10 million over the next three years, is intended to encourage high-quality strategic decision making and effective arrangements for governance and management.

HEFCE plans to give at least Pounds 50,000 to each of 100 projects, amounting to between one-quarter and one-half of their total costs. It hopes that some projects could unlock additional funding from government schemes.
