Hackney warns of possible 50 job losses

HACKNEY Community College's senior vice principal Ian Ashman has said that about 20 permanent lecturers, 20 part-timers and ten full-time support staff may lose their jobs as a result of a review that ends in February. A number of courses may also be cut and others may have their hours reduced. Mr Ashman said the college stands to lose Pounds 3.5 million in funding over the next three years.
