Four years after graduating most people are in jobs they want, that are relevant to their degrees, carry responsibility and higher salaries, the Institute for Employment Studies following up a 1995 survey of Sussex University graduates and found that features of 1990s graduate employment, such as instability, career changes and underemployment, apply mainly to the early years.
