Just so. Even (especially) when you do not agree with what somebody else thinks, it's not acceptable to be unkind to them. If nothing else, just consider this - if you don't agree with their opinions, what do they think about your opinions? There's a creeping arrogance at the moment, that everyone seems to think that just because they hold a particular opinion, everyone else should agree with it and anyone who doesn't is absolutely Evil, so it's quite acceptable to be rude and derogatory about THEM (as opposed to their take on the opinion in question) if not worse. Grow up! You are responsible for your own opinions, your own actions, but that's for you. You don't have the right to dictate to anybody else - nor do they have the right to dictate to you.
