Yes there are many Students are stranded in Afghanistan with uncertain future and India is not giving them visa. Such a heartbreaking for them who were in final years of their academic career.
Hi, I'm from one of the Universities that welcomes International students. It's not the fault of the Indian government or Indian Universities. First of all, all Indian Universities were given strict instructions and rules to stop taking admissions from Afghanistan after 2021. So the Universities can't break the rules and do as they wish. And the Indian government too has its reasons. They can't allow Afghanistani students right after the Taliban have imposed their ridiculous rules and restricted the right to education, especially women. It would complicate things and might put India at risk if they went against the Taliban. So it's like their hands are tied before the Taliban who are ruining everything. I only hope and pray that Afghanistan breaks free from the Taliban and is granted all human rights, especially to women.
