Peter Rolfe, former head of Keele University's hospital-based bioengineering and medical physics departments, was this week bailed by Stoke-on-Trent magistrates court to appear at the town's crown court this Monday, January 18. He is charged, jointly with former administrator Carol Benmakroha, with conspiring to defraud North Staffordshire Hospital Trust and Keele University. The pair were granted legal aid.
