EU academics in UK quizzed about ‘moving home’ after Brexit

One of our European lecturers has taken a job in China declaring that as democracy has failed he'd try a dictatorship next! As a committed European, I don't feel 'at home' in my own country any more, despite being a UK citizen born and bred.

So asking for informational reasons a series of questions to enable knowledge of likely response to brexit and probable damage to academia is unacceptable? One might have hoped that it was a good thing to be able to contribute to the on-going discussions, if only to assist the elite in derailing brexit.
