Engineers shape future

Brunel University officially opened its new Joseph Bazalgette engineering laboratories this week and announced the launch of a new civil engineering with sustainability degree course. The laboratories, named after the Victorian engineer, were opened by Quentin Leiper, president of the Institution of Civil Engineers. He said: "This new course shows how civil engineers are once again being recognised as the shapers of the future."
