Draft government guidance for regional development agencies is too limited on the role of further education, the AoC has warned. It also said it was puzzled by a lack of any reference to the Further Education Funding Council.

The guidance is also "too limited", the AoC said, "in recognising the importance of the FE colleges as regional partners in skills development".
