This is the digital radio of the future, according to Ben Bisek, Carsten Schweig and Mike Wong. Their design won the Pounds 750 first prize in a BBC competition for students at Ravensbourne College in south-east London. Listeners would tune to types of programme rather than frequencies, and would see additional information such as song titles displayed on a screen or projected on the wall.
