Copying crackdown

The Copyright Licensing Agency is targeting higher education in a crackdown on illegal photocopying. As licence holders, institutions are responsible for ensuring students and staff comply with copyright law. Failure to do so could mean big fines. The CLA permits limited photocopying, such as one chapter of a book or a short story or poem not exceeding ten pages in length.
