To lead a research team, you need to understand others' needs and weakness. show support and understanding to individual's needs. provide mentor-ship and positive feedback to your team members, listen to their criticism, treat them as your team members but not as people working for you - give them equal opportunities. Use the formal and informal channels to reach them and never undermine any of their capacities and abilities
