Boys shunning HE

The number of 11 to 16-year-old boys who want to go to university has dropped from 70 per cent to 66 per cent in the last year.

according to a Mori poll for the Sutton Trust. One-third of those questioned believed they would not get the grades to go to university. The proportion of girls interested in attending university rose by 1 per cent to 74 per cent.
