A student has won a place at university after writing her application on a shop wall. Lara Roberts, 19, painted her personal statement in a derelict shopping centre before photographing it to send off to the University and College Admissions Service. The statement helped to win her an unconditional place at Dartington College in Totnes to study devised theatre.
