once more putting the art in front of the horse. The fact that all the other lemmings are running over a cliff is no reason to join them. Start by asking. what problems do you want to solve? then what are the suitable mechanisms for finding a solution? ATI seemed to be a solution looking for a problem. someone decoded that Turing had to be honoured by an institute, then decided to point it at AI... why?
