TRAINEE barristers may no longer have to dine at the Inns of Court in London before qualifying at the Bar. The council of the Inns of Court and the Bar Council are considering proposals to replace the practice with seminars or training sessions held closer to the training institutions to save students train fares. The council has already reduced the number of mandatory dinners from 18 to 12.
