Male transvestite students at at least one campus of a leading Thai teachers' college are allowed to wear women's school uniforms to classes, the Bangkok Post has reported. The policy, which differs between the institute's 36 campuses, is a change from two years ago. Then, the education ministry tried to ban gay students altogether, saying homosexuals were poor role models for youngsters.
