Archaeology can help with climate change, claims campaigner

UK Construction Industry depends on timely surveys by Archaeologists in order to progress building projects as quickly as possible. It is a legal requirement for this to be done before work can start. On a philosophical point, archaeology provides the empirical evidence to refute (or perhaps support) political speculations about national and regional identities.
