Anti-Nazi library wins lottery grant

The London-based Wiener Library, the world's oldest institution established to document the Nazi regime and its persecution of the Jews, has been awarded a Pounds 250,000 grant by the Heritage Lottery Fund.

The grant will support a Pounds 250,000 programme of modernisation, comprising refurbishment of its bookstore, entering its catalogue on to computer and improving educational facilities.
