(Photograph) - And so to bed: a plant jigsaw scheme created by plant scientists Nicola Bowen and Zac Worral will allow plant displays to be laid out in hours rather than days. Kernock Park Plants' Ms Bowen, a Plymouth graduate, worked with undergraduate Mr Worral to develop computer software enabling traditional carpet bedding to be created in ready-to-lay units in the nursery. Their prototype one-day, 20,000-plant Plymouth civic crest would normally take two people three weeks to complete.
