(Photograph) - Carson is so incensed by the decision of Queen's University Belfast to cease playing the national anthem at future graduation ceremonies that he has returned his PhD and Master's degree scrolls presented to him by the university. Writing to chancellor Sir David Orr, he observed that "a militant minority and their non-academic abettors have triumphed".
