on "precarity": might be interesting to compare teacher-happiness/stress (as well as student/school results) in countries like the Netherlands and Germany where teachers have long term contracts ... never heard about so many unhappy burnout complaining teachers as well as unhappy and students that perform far below their capability as in these countries ... even in international schools (with mainly British teachers - so same stock), but with the obligatory local long term contracts, results and happiness are very low ...
