I too visited such a cemetery. In Maleme, Crete. Amazing - the Germans parachuted thousands of young men to be killed. All the gravestones saying '18 years old'. Thousands of them and totally meaningless.
poetry is one form of natural medicine where it heals every broken spirit, where it communicate with the inner being. in the form of arts poets not only blesses people but also heals us.
Poetry Pharmacy , collated by William Sieghart, a beautiful selection of poems comes to mind. His first line, 'you don't need to be a poet to find solace in poetry.'
