CRAVEN ARMS: “Stevan. It would be more helpful if you could just summarise your point for those of us with increasingly busy lives? Thanks.” For those with increasingly busy lives: Institutions, funders, assessors: Mandate immediate deposit of all publications in authors' institutional repository. It will maximize their usage and impact. Assessors: Harvest both publications and metrics for all articles and authors (citation counts, download counts, and other digital metrics of usage and impact) to help in assessment.
