The ranking draws on decades of THE’s best practices to develop a ranking specifically tailored to the unique features of higher education in Sub-Saharan Africa. Unlike our other rankings which tend to focus on one mission, it follows a hybrid methodology to account for the diverse strengths of the sector, covering elements of teaching, impact, and research.
