When lecturers’ professional and private lives collide

This reminded me of one such moments when lines are blurred, also on the occasion of a lecture when a female student of mine, right before the start, commented loudly enough for me ( and other) to hear 'great tights, and great legs!' Somehow all I talked about after that felt a bit like an anti-climax :)
