Alan Johnson, higher education minister, will be the main speaker at "The Higher Education Bill as Policy and in Practice", a debate being hosted by The Times Higher and the Policy Studies Institute on April 30 at Westminster University. Other speakers will be Geoffrey Copland, vice-chancellor of Westminster University, David Wilkinson of the PSI and Alasdair Smith, vice-chancellor of Sussex University. The debate will be chaired by John O'Leary, editor of The Times Higher .
