Sony sponsors course in computer games

Salford University is offering a three-year degree in computer and video games, sponsored by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe and the European Leisure Software Publishers' Association.

Students will learn how to design, produce and market their own games, as well as learning some of the history behind the phenomenon.

The school of media, music and performance has already received more than 200 applications.
