FURTHER education colleges in Scotland have won Pounds 1.3 million from the government to encourage them to work together. The Strategic Initiatives Fund for Further Education follows an ongoing initiative by the Scottish Higher Education Funding Council to promote institutional collaboration, which could total Pounds 11 million this year.
