Paisley University's Ayr campus and Glasgow School of Art are to receive extra funding for building projects as part of a £100 million capital spending package for universities and colleges announced by the Scottish Government.

Fiona Hyslop, the Cabinet Secretary for Education and Lifelong Learning, said the funding comes from money held by the Treasury that the Scottish Government has not spent.
