(Photograph) - School snaps: The 'Digivid' is a computer-controlled digital camera, electronically designed by Manchester Metropolitan University student Ian Mahaffy to be used as a learning tool by primary school pupils. This is one of 115 images of art and design work gathered together from 15 institutions for The THES's "virtual gallery", which opens this week on our website at thesis.newsint.co.uk. In a special supplement on pages i-iv, we also examine information technology issues raised in theDearing report.
