Salford appoints Harloe vice chancellor

Michael Harloe is to be the new vice chancellor, University of Salford, and will take up the post on October 1 when Tom Husband retires. Professor Harloe is pro vice chancellor with responsibility for research and development at the University of Essex and founder editor of the International Journal of Urban and Regional Research.
