WORK will begin next year on the Pounds 13.5 million Institute for American Studies in Oxford, thanks to the Rhodes Trust. The charitable organisation which provides scholarships for USand Commonwealth students to study at Oxford, has donated Pounds 4 million to the training and reference centre for American history, government and politics.
