Queen's deal with US

Queen's University Belfast and Georgetown University in Washington DC are this week agreeing a research and education partnership covering subjects from cancer research and creative writing to postconflict resolution and human rights. Georgetown also hopes to set up a global centre in Irish studies. Queen's vice-chancellor Peter Gregson said: "The establishment of academic relationships across the Atlantic is a key feature of globalisation."
