One of Scotland's leading contemporary artists has been appointed to a new chair at Dundee University in the faculty where he was a student 20 years ago. Calum Colvin will professor of fine art photograph in the faculty of Duncan of Jordanstone College. He has won an international reputation for his unique style of constructed photography, assembling a tableau, often of everyday domestic kitsch, which he then paints and photographs.
