* Cambridge University was expected to face protesters outside the High Court this week over its spending on legal bills in its battle with lecturer Gill Evans. As The THES went to press, the Campaign for Academic Freedom and Academic Standards was preparing to lobby outside Dr Evans's latest High Court hearing this week. CAFAS said that Cambridge had "wasted nearly Pounds 150,000 on legal fees in its dispute with Dr Evans".
