Promising spin-off

A new spin-off company in Aberdeen, B1 Medical, has been named Most Promising New Life Science Company in Scotland for its revolutionary orthopaedic inventions to aid sufferers of illnesses such as rheumatoid arthritis.

The company, founded in July 2006 as a spin-off from Aberdeen and the Robert Gordon universities and NHS Grampian, was a winner in the Scottish Enterprise Scottish Life Sciences Award.
