(Photograph) - Paper chase: Edinburgh University has acquired the papers of its former student Norman MacCaig, one of the greatest Scottish poets of the 20th century, with the help of Pounds 67,800 from the Heritage Lottery Fund. The cache of unpublished work, letters and diaries includes copies of MacCaig's first two books, written in the 1940s, which he was thought to have bought back and destroyed.
